Shane Logan, CEO of Ulster Rugby delivered a presentation to the NIABT on the development of Ulster Rugby over the past number of years. Shane talked about how Ulster Rugby took a business approach to the development of the new stadium, ensuring they created an excellent venue which would appeal to and be accessible to a diverse audience.
Shane then gave the NIABT delegation a behind the scenes tour of the stadium. The tour gave an excellent opportunity to hear about the technologies that have been embraced during this process.
On 11th November 2014 the Northern Ireland Assembly Business Trust hosted a briefing, exploring the importance of sales and marketing to the growth of the local economy.

The NIABT hosted a European debate on 13th May.
Mike Nesbitt MLA, OFMDFM Committee Chair, Professor David Phinnemore, Professor of European Politics, QUB, Jane Morrice, Vice President European Economic and Social Committee and Colette Fitzgerald, Head of the European Commission Regional Office in Belfast all addressed the delegation.
David, Jane and Colette then took questions from the audience.
Economist Phil McDonagh delivered a presentation on how the recent Budget statement impacts on Northern Ireland.
