Dr Theresa Donaldson, CEO of Castlereagh and Lisburn Council and Suzanne Wylie, CEO of Belfast City Council presented a rural and urban perspective on how RPA will impact on businesses.
The Minister provided a briefing on the economic challenges and opportunities that businesses will face in 2015/2016.
Shane Logan, CEO of Ulster Rugby delivered a presentation to the NIABT on the development of Ulster Rugby over the past number of years. Shane talked about how Ulster Rugby took a business approach to the development of the new stadium, ensuring they created an excellent venue which would appeal to and be accessible to a diverse audience.
Shane then gave the NIABT delegation a behind the scenes tour of the stadium. The tour gave an excellent opportunity to hear about the technologies that have been embraced during this process.
On 11th November 2014 the Northern Ireland Assembly Business Trust hosted a briefing, exploring the importance of sales and marketing to the growth of the local economy.
Dr Gerry Mulligan, Head of the NI Executive Office, Brussels briefs NIABT on “How the European Parliament elections will affect your business.”
The NIABT hosted a European debate on 13th May.
Mike Nesbitt MLA, OFMDFM Committee Chair, Professor David Phinnemore, Professor of European Politics, QUB, Jane Morrice, Vice President European Economic and Social Committee and Colette Fitzgerald, Head of the European Commission Regional Office in Belfast all addressed the delegation.
David, Jane and Colette then took questions from the audience.
Economist Phil McDonagh delivered a presentation on how the recent Budget statement impacts on Northern Ireland.

Colin Neill, Chief Executive of Pubs of Ulster hosted Alastair Ross MLA for a fellowship visit where Alastair was able to observe a pub week planning meeting and other strategic events.
